Speakers will include:
Dr Christopher Harrison, GP and lecturer in Medical Education at the University of Keele.
Dr Margaret Phillips, a consultant in rehabilitation with wide academic and clinical experience.
Dr Sue Vernon, a retired paediatric nurse consultant and honorary University chaplain, with a PhD on Children’s need for alone time and an interest in Christian meditation.
Dr Rebecca Robinson, a specialist doctor in exercise medicine-working to optimise health for those with long-term illness as well as the health of athletes in elite sport.
Fr Peter Rosser, of the Leeds Diocese, who has extensive experience of the NHS as a hospital chaplain, a parish priest, and a patient in a variety of situations.
Sr Margaret Atkins and Fr Richard Taylor, residents at Boarbank Hall, will provide theological reflection.
Our chaplain for the week will be Fr David Egan, a priest of the Salford Diocese and a highly experienced hospital chaplain.
There will be talks, discussions and workshops on themes including:
*God and time
*Time in the Biblical world
*The time for rehabilitation
*The patient’s experience of time
*Time-management and the Benedictine tradition
*Speed, sport and time
*Solitude as time for renewal
You will be invited to join in:
* Daily Mass
* Morning, Evening,
and Night Prayer
You will be free to use the chapel, oratory and gardens for private prayer and quiet reflection
How to apply
Prices, per person including full board and lodging:
£330 for single room with shared facilities;
£380 for single room en-suite;
£300 each sharing twin/double en-suite.

To secure a place, you will need to send a deposit of £50 (cheques payable to ‘Boarbank Hall’).
The balance will be payable on arrival.
